Last Page
I am the last blank
page in a book that nobody ever reads
Once the story has had
its end they flip right past me
Never to see the light
of day again
The only page in a book
that doesn't bend
No dog ears, wrinkles,
or finger prints
No purpose in my being,
just taking up space
The bastard runt of
some unknown tree
Worth less than the
author's salary
Pay me no mind...
The weight of the words
above are crushing me
